Adhesive Repair/Removal

Remove tape from bottom right corner. Hairdryer did not work. Used scalpel to pare the tape. Then humidified the residue with water. Removed the softened residue with a spatula. Removed tapes of the bottom middle/bottom left corner/right side.
Surface Clean

Used document cleaning pad and Staedtler eraser for surface cleaning. Used scalpel to scratch out dirty fibers of tears.
Disassemble

Removed previous mends. Humidified mending using water on brush and then removed with spatula.
Humidification

Used Gore-Tex for humidification. Pressed lithograph in sandwich stricture.
Tear Repair
Apr 5, 2019
Mended tears with Japanese paper and starch paste. Filled gaps of tears with cellulose powder and 7% methylcellulose.
